1848 Apple Brandy 70cl
A gift from one Republic to another. In 1848, the Irish tricolour (Bratach na hÉireann) was gifted to Ireland by the French. Today, two great nations come together once again to honour that shared history. The pioneering, family-owned Boann Distillery has joined forces with renowned Calvados Pays d'Auge producer Château de Breuil to create a unique collaboration — two exceptional brandies married together to produce a smooth, rounded apple brandy. Nose: Sweet summer apple blossom, freshly pressed apples, citrus zest and vanilla. Palate: Fresh apples, marmalade, tarte tatin with vanilla and honey. Finish: Long and creamy with hints of nutmeg, cinnamon and ground walnuts.
