The Open Special 2025 Single Malt Scotch Whisky 70cl

To celebrate our partnership with The Open, Golf’s original Championship, we have created The Open Special Edition. This expression celebrates the 153rd Open at Royal Portrush in Ireland and crafted to explore the influence of rich and ripe Tuscan Chianti wine casks on the Loch Lomond signature style. The Open Special edition single malt exclusively uses whiskies only from our unique straight-neck stills, aged in American Oak casks, creating our signature fruit, honey, and soft smoke style. A range of hand-selected casks are then finished in first-fill Chianti casks, adding layers of rich, ripe flavours to our signature distillery style. The Open Special Edition Single Malt Whisky is non-chill filtered, to keep things just as nature intended. Tasting Notes: NOSE: Redcurrant, raspberry, apple, vanilla. TASTE: Honey, peach, pear, red berries. FINISH: Medium length with drying oak tannin and soft smoke.
