Dalmore PX Cask Scotch Whisky 16 Years Old Scotland 70CL

Discover the exquisite complexity of The Dalmore 16 Years Old, a distinguished single malt Scotch whisky meticulously crafted for the discerning traveller. This exceptional expression showcases the distillery's commitment to unparalleled quality and innovation, aged for 16 years to achieve a profound depth of character. The journey begins with the influence of ex-bourbon casks, imparting a foundation of creamy vanilla and rich toffee. The true magic, however, unfolds as the spirit is then finished in rare Oloroso Sherry butts. These specially selected casks, having previously held rich, nutty Oloroso sherry, bestow upon the whisky layers of dried fruits, dark chocolate, and a hint of warming spice. The result is a harmonious symphony of flavours that dances on the palate. On the nose, expect notes of dark chocolate, Seville orange, and warming spices. The palate reveals a luscious blend of sweet almonds, baked apples, and a whisper of gingerbread, culminating in a long, lingering finish with hints of coffee and oak. Bottled at 40% ABV, The Dalmore 16 Years Old PX Cask is best savoured neat, allowing its intricate layers to be fully appreciated. It also pairs beautifully with dark chocolate or a rich fruitcake, making it the perfect indulgence to commemorate your journey. Elevate your travel retail experience with this benchmark of Highland single malt craftsmanship.
