Rampur Double Cask Gift Pack Indian Single Malt Whisky India 100CL

Embark on a sensory journey with the Rampur Double Cask Gift Pack, an exquisite Indian Single Malt Whisky crafted for the discerning traveller. Presented in a generous 1000ml bottle, this exceptional spirit is a testament to India's burgeoning whisky heritage, offering a unique taste of the Himalayas. The Rampur Double Cask is meticulously matured in two distinct cask types: American Oak ex-bourbon barrels and ex-sherry casks, a dual maturation process that imparts unparalleled depth and complexity. Upon first pour, expect an alluring aroma of tropical fruits, particularly ripe mango and banana, interwoven with delicate floral notes and a whisper of vanilla. On the palate, this single malt unfolds with a rich tapestry of flavours. Notes of sweet caramel and dark honey dance with hints of apricot and sultana, beautifully balanced by a gentle oak spice. The influence of the ex-sherry casks lends a subtle dried fruit character, while the ex-bourbon barrels contribute a creamy, vanilla-laced sweetness. The finish is long, warming, and exceptionally smooth, leaving a lingering impression of spice and malt. Perfect for sipping neat to fully appreciate its intricate layers, the Rampur Double Cask also shines when served with a drop of water to open up its complex bouquet, or as the distinguished base for a sophisticated whisky cocktail. This gift pack is an ideal indulgence for yourself or a cherished present for any whisky aficionado, making it a standout addition to your travel retail selection.
