Paul John Peated Select Cask Indian Single Malt Whisky India 100CL

Embark on an extraordinary sensory journey with the Paul John Peated Select Cask Indian Single Malt Whisky, presented in a generous 1000ml bottle, a true treasure for the discerning traveller. Hailing from the vibrant shores of Goa, India, this exquisite single malt is a testament to the artistry and passion of the Paul John distillery. The "Peated Select Cask" expression offers a captivating divergence from the distillery's usual unpeated style, diving deep into the smoky, complex heart of single malt whisky. Distilled with meticulous care and matured in hand-selected casks, this whisky delivers an intense yet beautifully balanced profile. Upon first nosing, prepare for an inviting embrace of peat smoke, intertwined with subtle hints of caramel, toasted oak, and a whisper of maritime brine. The palate unfolds with a rich tapestry of flavours; the initial smokiness gracefully gives way to notes of dark chocolate, sweet dried fruits like figs and dates, and a warming spice. The finish is long, resonant, and deeply satisfying, leaving a lingering impression of peat, honey, and a gentle oak influence. With an ABV of 55.2%, this is a robust and full-bodied whisky that demands to be savoured. To fully appreciate its intricate layers, we recommend enjoying it neat, perhaps with a drop of water to open up its aromas. Alternatively, it makes for a sophisticated companion to a fine cigar or a rich, dark chocolate dessert. Elevate your travel experience and indulge in a dram of Paul John Peated Select Cask – a unique expression of Indian craftsmanship that promises an unforgettable tasting adventure, perfect for acquiring at duty-free or gifting to a fellow connoisseur.
