Discover the epitome of Australian winemaking with Penfolds Bin 389 Cabernet Shiraz, a wine that has rightfully earned its place as a benchmark for Australian red blends. Hailing from the prestigious Penfolds collection, this iconic 750ml bottle represents a masterful fusion of two noble grape varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz. Often referred to as 'the baby Grange', Bin 389 showcases the harmonious marriage of structure and fruit, a testament to Penfolds' unwavering commitment to quality and tradition. Upon uncorking, immerse yourself in an aromatic bouquet that hints at the complexity within. Expect a rich tapestry of dark fruit, including ripe blackcurrant and plum, interwoven with sophisticated notes of graphite, cedar, and a whisper of subtle spice. The palate is equally captivating, offering a full-bodied experience with velvety tannins that provide excellent structure and a long, lingering finish. For a more refined experience, consider serving it alongside mature cheddar or aged gouda cheese.
