González Byass Vermouth La Copa 75cl

La Copa Vermouth is one of the most historic brands from González Byass, officially registered in 1884. This vermouth is produced following the original recipe from 1906, a tradition faithfully maintained to this day. Its label and packaging are inspired by the brand’s earliest presentations, capturing the essence of classic vermouth culture in Spain. What sets La Copa apart is its exceptional base: a blend of Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez Sherry wines, aged for over 8 years in solera casks at the González Byass cellars in Jerez. These richly matured wines provide a smooth, complex foundation that defines the elegant character of the vermouth. A meticulous selection of botanicals is carried out to create the perfect bitter-sweet, aromatic balance. The primary botanicals include wormwood, savory, clove, orange peel, nutmeg, and cinnamon — each contributing to its deep, spiced profile. The exact proportions, however, remain a closely guarded secret, securely kept within the winery. La Copa Vermouth is ideal as a premium aperitif, whether served over ice with an orange twist, mixed into classic cocktails, or enjoyed neat. It is a product that blends heritage, craftsmanship, and sophistication, offering a unique sensory experience that speaks to more than a century of vermouth-making tradition in Spain. With La Copa, González Byass delivers not just a drink — but a taste of history, authenticity, and artisanal excellence.
