Kurayoshi Pure Malt is aged for more than 3 years in ex-Bourbon virgin oak casks. It has a soft malt aroma that is fragrant and refreshing. The taste consists of raisins, nuts, and vanilla with a balanced ratio of sour and sweet that harmoniously spreads in the mouth. Fresh groundwater from the wilderness of Tottori Prefecture is a blessing of the earth and is used to bring the whisky to life. It is a very palatable, soft character of the whisky that deserves the name Kurayoshi, the city of water and greenery. Each bottle is made with love in an environment with a lot of nature, mountains, and little population. The high temperatures in summer and the snow in winter make the region perfect for whisky production. This whisky is not chill-filtered.
