Sandeman Late Bottled Vintage Port Wine

The high quality wines from the 2018 harvest were carefully selected and blended to create the Sandeman Porto Late Bottled Vintage 2018. Aged for around four years, this wine was bottled without filtration, maintaining the style of a single-harvest wine. A deep almost opaque ruby colour, this wine has a very complex aroma with red fruits, notes of aniseed and a slight scent of Chinese ink, as well as some minerality, shrubby tones (boxwood) and splashes of cocoa and chocolate courtesy of a good maturation. On the palate, it has great volume, a lively acidity, firm tannins, and further notes of shrubs and black fruit that invite a long, complex finish.
