It was the beginning of one of Atkinsons's most successful product launches in the 20th century: Ambre Chinois, one of the first oriental fragrances presented to the Western world in 1927. Ambre Royal brings the popular "Essence" edition from 1929 to its perfection. Maurice Roucel, one of the best perfumers of his time, created Ambre Royal by blending three accords that capture the captivating allure and mystique of amber. Nectar Accord. The Nectar Accord imagines the sacred essence of amber as the nectar of the gods, combining the narcotic, intoxicating allure of Ylang-Ylang with the transparent embrace of Magnolia. Luminous Accord. To recreate the glow of amber, Maurice Roucel chose the exclusive Ambre De Laire 84, originally created at the beginning of the 20th century by Georges De Laire. This extremely sensual and ambery note is characterized by the powerful, captivating Ambrostar, illuminated by a delicious toffee accord and a sensual blend of precious natural woods. The Accord seduces with its meditative depth, in which Cistus Labdanum embraces the revered incense oil. Transcendence Accord. A luxurious blend of sensual woods creates an unforgettable sillage. A leathery, smoky nuance is created by Vetiver oil from Madagascar, which combines with the creamy, dry woodiness of sandalwood oil, enveloping you in an aura of timeless elegance.
