André Delorme Crémant de Bourgogne Extra-Brut

Product

André Delorme, Crémant de Bourgogne Weiß ExtraBrut

Crémant de Bourgogne is a French sparkling wine produced outside the Champagne region, but following the same traditional method, known as méthode traditionnelle. It is known for its delicate bubbles, elegant flavors and its good value for money. Crémant comes from several French wine regions, each with its own unique grape varieties and flavor characteristics. Production and origin Crémant is produced in recognized wine areas such as Alsace, Bourgogne, Loire and Jura. Although the production is similar to Champagne, the regions' different climates and soils give Crémant its own distinctive character. The wine is fermented in the bottle, and the maturation on the lees adds complex aromas of bread, nuts and fruit. Types of Crémant The name Crémant is often followed by the region it is made in, for example: Crémant d'Alsace: Fresh and fruity with often dominant grape varieties such as Pinot Blanc and Riesling. Crémant de Bourgogne: Elegant and structured, often made with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Crémant de Loire: Fresh and aromatic, made from Chenin Blanc, often with high acidity. Crémant comes in different styles, from bone-dry Brut to slightly sweeter variants, which makes it suitable for many occasions and dishes.
