The Marchesi di Barolo winery is located in the heart of Barolo and is a cult centre for wine lovers. Barbera is the most traditional grape variety on the hills of the Asti region. And the wines made from it are also a genuine brand. Marchesi di Barolo is considered one of the pioneers of viticulture in this region. The Rurè matures in Slavonian oak barrels, which gives it its harmony and balance. The nose is fresh and fruity with notes of blackberries and jam as well as vanilla and hazelnut. The flavour is full and robust with a beautiful acid, in which the wood can also be gently felt. The wine is full-bodied and elegant and is immediately appealing from the very first sip.
