Aberlour 16 Year Old Travel Exclusive 70cl

Aberlour is a renowned Scotch whisky distillery located in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. Introducing one of only three Travel Retail Exclusive aged expressions to be released. Our makers mature the Aberlour 16 in two different types of casks: American oak casks bringing notes of vanilla and toffee, and oloroso sherry casks imparting spice and richness. During the years of maturation, the whiskies subtly absorb the casks' complexity, adding intricate layers and refined depth. When the time comes, our craftsmen finish a portion of the single malt from both casks in double charred American oak barrels, adding sweet notes to the whisky. This is an art requiring dedication and years of expertise to achieve just the right balance of depth and flavour. Aberlour 16-Year-Old single malt Scotch whisky represents the epitome of quality and refinement, embodying the heritage and expertise of the renowned Aberlour distillery. This exceptional expression is characterised by its rich sherry influence, resulting in a sumptuously deep and complex flavour profile that captivates the senses. Through a meticulous maturation process spanning 16 years, this whisky exudes an unparalleled level of depth, sophistication, and smoothness, showcasing the artistry of time-honoured aging techniques. This distinguished whisky is a testament to Aberlour's unwavering commitment to excellence and tradition, making it an iconic representation of the brand's esteemed lineage.
