Back in the summer of 1992, our first winemaker passionately believed that wine should be enjoyed not debated. Complex terminology and vintages were drowning out what mattered most: TASTE. A gap was identified in the market for a fresh, very fruity, smooth, crowd pleasing wine. The range therefore focuses on an easily accessible wine style. With all natural flavours… and not as sickly sweet as much of our competition it’s now the most loved wine in the whole of the UK*. Ripe, juicy, fruity, soft expression. Good intensity. Plumby, blackberry. Ruby cabernet (colour & richness), barbera (ripe, fruity, softness), carignan (depth & structure) & Syrah (richness). No tannins or acidity. Easy going. Carefully blended, it has a distinctive style that is perfect for drinking any time.
