Johnnie walker master's ruby reserve 40 year old

To celebrate his ruby jubilee at Johnnie Walker, Master Blender Dr. Jim Beveridge and his team of passionate whisky experts have created an expertly balanced, incredibly rich 40-year-old whisky – only 398 units available worldwide. A visionary and a pioneer, he embodies and preserves a 200-year strong legacy at Johnnie Walker – and remains at the forefront of whisky innovation. Johnnie Walker Master’s Ruby Reserve celebrates this incredible journey by exploring whiskies that are at least 40 years old, including expressions that were amongst the first Jim worked with at Johnnie Walker. From over ten million casks in the Johnnie Walker reserves, Jim has sampled and selected eight exquisite whiskies that evoke his early memories at Johnnie Walker, including expressions from the ‘ghost’ distilleries of Cambus, Carsebridge, Pittyvaich and Port Ellen. These rare whiskies are perfectly balanced with highly aged expressions from the ancient distilleries of Talisker, Royal Lochnagar, Glendullan and Cragganmore.
