Dalmore PX Cask Scotch Whisky 13 Years Old Scotland 70CL

Discover the exquisite allure of The Dalmore 13 Years Old PX Cask, a distinguished single malt Scotch whisky crafted for the discerning traveller. Bottled at 40% ABV, this exceptional expression invites you on a sensory journey, beginning with its rich, deep amber hue. Aged to perfection, the whisky spends its maturation period in a carefully selected combination of American white oak ex-bourbon casks and is then meticulously finished in vintage 30-year-old Oloroso sherry casks, sourced from the renowned Bodegas Ximénez-Spínola. This unique finishing process imparts a profound complexity and luxurious character. On the nose, anticipate an inviting bouquet of dark chocolate, rich fruitcake, and warming spices, hinting at the depth to come. The palate unfolds with opulent layers of treacle, candied orange peel, and espresso, beautifully intertwined with the sweet, nutty notes derived from the Pedro Ximénez influence. The finish is exceptionally long and satisfying, a lingering embrace of dark chocolate, marzipan, and a whisper of cinnamon. To truly savour this masterpiece, we recommend serving The Dalmore 13 Years Old PX Cask neat, allowing its intricate flavours to fully express themselves. Alternatively, a single ice cube can subtly enhance its aromatic profile. This is more than just a whisky; it's an experience to be savoured, making it the perfect indulgence or an unforgettable gift for those special moments, available exclusively for you to discover on your journey.
