Laphroaig 12 Years Old Scotch Whisky 70CL

Laphroaig 12 Years Old is a quintessential expression from the renowned Islay distillery, celebrated worldwide for its distinctive smoky and medicinal character. This single malt Scotch whisky is aged for a minimum of 12 years in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, allowing it to develop a complex and layered flavor profile. Upon pouring, Laphroaig 12 Years Old presents an inviting golden hue and releases an intense aroma of peat smoke, sea salt, and iodine, characteristic of its coastal Islay home. The palate is a bold journey through smoky notes, balanced by an underlying sweetness from the sherry cask influence. You'll discover hints of vanilla, toffee, and dried fruit mingling with the signature medicinal peat, seaweed, and a touch of brine. The finish is long, warming, and exceptionally smoky, leaving a lasting impression of the rugged Scottish coastline. Laphroaig 12 Years Old is best enjoyed neat or with a small drop of water to fully appreciate its intricate depths.
