Our Master Distiller Alex Chasko is renowned for his innovative cask selection when it comes to Irish Whiskey, creating expressions of true character. This quintessentially Irish Single Pot Still is crafted using 50% malted and 50% un-malted barley and was bottled exclusively for Dublin and Cork Airport Duty Free. The whiskey has been double matured in both ex- Bourbon and toasted White Wine barrels giving off lovely notes of fresh fruit, toasted wood and vanilla. This limited edition bottling of Cask Strength Single Pot Still Whiskey is non-chill filtered and bottled at 54.7% ABV capturing the very best that Teeling Whiskey has to offer, making this an Irish Whiskey to savour. Tasting notes: Nose: Fresh Fruits. Apples, toasted wood and a hint of spice Taste: Orchard fruits, honey sweetness, vanilla & white pepper Finish: Long Finish, dry spices and a lingering sweetness

A great single malt that is drawn from various ages of whisky from a single undisclosed Irish distillery. The oldest malt in this dates back to 1991 and the various components have been matured in different types of barrels including Sherry, Port, Madeira, White Burgundy and Cabernet Sauvignon. Possibly our favourite new whiskey of 2014. At this price it represents great value for money. Never mind that there is not an age statement, this is as good, if not better than most 12 year old single malts. Nose: vibrant with notes of melon, figs, toffee and lemon. Palate: a balance mix of dry fruits, citrus, vanilla, spice and cloves. Overall: long with sweetness in harmony with dry tannins from the wood.

First distilled in 1983, aged exclusively in ex-American oak bourbon barrels and bottled at 42.2% this historic bottling captures a truly unique taste experience, producing a complex floral nose with deep layered flavours as a result of its 40 year journey. Nose: Light berry fruit compote with hints of blueberry & strawberry, honey, spearmint, candied orange zest and light spices Taste:Warming texture with notes of coconut, milk chocolate, peach sorbet, honeydew melon and tangerine Finish: Long luxurious finish with subtle spice, soft oak tannins and honeyed sweetness

We’re the first distillery to open in Dublin city for 125 years, yet whiskey making flows through our family’s veins – over two centuries of it. It’s our deep Dublin distilling roots that give us confidence to do things differently. Dublin distillers, back in the last golden era of Irish whiskey, were made famous by perfecting the use of unmalted barley and triple distillation. The first release from our new distillery pays homage to this famous Dublin style of Irish Whiskey. Our Single Pot is crafted using a recipe of 50% unmalted spring barley and 50% malted barley which is triple distilled and matured in a combination of virgin oak, ex-wine and ex-bourbon barrels. This is not how everyone makes Irish whiskey – it’s our way. That’s the Spirit of Dublin.
