This is an exceptional cask which unfurls the pinnacle of single cask, single malt Irish whiskey. Nose: influence of sherry cask and dark chocolate. Taste: toasted oak, sweet sherried raisins. Finish: nutty oloroso sherry and dark chocolate.

Matured in two different woods, American oak bourbon barrels and oloroso sherry butts, it gives way to a well-balanced flavoursome whiskey. Triple distilled and bottled at 40% ABV this is an undeniably smooth Irish whiskey. Nose: ripe and fruity with luscious peach, dried apricot and tropical fruits. Hints of orange blossom and vanilla fudge Taste: vanilla sweetness, granola, toasted almonds and honey, digestive biscuits, apricots and a hint of cocoa Finish: long lingering finish with a light maltiness and sweet oak, not so much a finish, more of an encore

The Irishman 12-year-old single malt is the pinnacle of triple-distilled Irish single malt. Aged for a minimum of 12 years in hand-selected first-fill bourbon barrels. The Irishman 12-year-old single malt is limited to only 6000 bottles released per year and bottled at 43% ABV.
