Reserva de la Familia Reposado Organic 100% agave combines tequilas rested in three different barrels for six months : heavily charred American oak providing exotic notes of cinnamon; lightly toasted American oak; and French oak adding delicate, sweet hints of caramel and vanilla. This trilogy of wood, enhances yet softens the tequila’s sophisticated floral, herbal and wood notes, achieving a sublime balance in nose and mouth. It is uniquely crafted using a process known as esencia de agave.

La base del tequila son las piñas del agave azul Weber. Una piña es el corazón del agave. Se cocina al vapor en hornos a 60-85°C durante 24-36 horas. Esto convierte el almidón en azúcar. Este azúcar se disuelve de la planta y se fermenta con agua y levadura. La masa fermentada se destila dos veces en un alambique de cobre. Para refinar el sabor, luego se envejece durante 3 meses en barricas de roble. Nariz: Nota suave y agradable de agave y algo de roble. Sabor: dulce, sutil agave con un toque de roble y vainilla, equilibrado y suave. Jose Cuervo es el tequila más premiado del mundo y proviene de la destilería más antigua que aún está en funcionamiento en América Latina. Sus raíces se remontan a 1758, cuando Jose Antonio de Cuervo recibió un terreno en el estado mexicano de Jalisco por parte del rey español para cultivar agaves. En 1795, la familia recibió la licencia oficial para destilar tequila. 10 generaciones después, la producción sigue en manos de la familia y Jose Cuervo es el líder indiscutible del mercado doméstico mexicano. A diferencia de otros productores, el tequila se embotella exclusivamente en México y solo entonces se exporta a más de 100 países.

This sugar is dissolved from the plant and fermented with water and yeast. The fermented mass is then distilled twice in a copper still. To refine the taste, the young white tequila was blended with mature tequilas, which makes it more refined and gentle. Nose: Pleasantly soft, spicy black pepper with fine agave notes.
