It takes an inquisitive, questing spirit to produce the most remarkable results. Through the years PJ Rigney has taken many journeys from the familiar into terra incognita. In time, those travels brought him here, to the wild and unspoilt landscape of Drumshanbo, Co Leitrim. It was here that his curious mind, filled with the great oriental traditions of distilling fruit, herbs and botanicals, got to work. He created The Shed Distillery of PJ Rigney, with its medieval copper pot stills, and began a quest to fuse oriental botanicals with the local Irish ones. As it turned out, they got on very well indeed. The result of this passionate exploration is Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin – unique, extraordinary and as remarkable as the elusive creature PJ has occasionally glimpsed in the fields, the Drumshanbo Jackalope.

Experience all the glorious flavour of Drumshanbo Gunpoweder Sardinian Citrus gin in a gorgeously presented ceramic bottle! This Irish gin is quite unique as it was distilled with oriental botanicals, gunpowder tea, and a hint of Sardinian citrus--one of the rarest citrus fruits in the world found only on the island of Sardinia. Uniquely fragrant, a delightful meld of orange and grapefruit, exotic aromas, and a mysterious finish. Best enjoyed in a smooth, refreshing cocktail or on its own with a generous wedge of fresh red grapefruit.

Drumshanbo Single Pot Still Tawny Port Cask Irish Whiskey 70cl

Special and rare limited release. Every precious drop triple distilled at The Shed Distillery of PJ Rigney. Distilled with malted Irish barley, unmalted Irish barley and Irish barra oats. Matured in Tawny Port Casks which had previously aged delectable Tawny Port wines from Portugal. Non chill filtered, no colour added. 43% ABV.

Drumshanbo Single Malt Galanta Irish Whiskey 70cl

Following the success of last year's release, Master Distiller Brian Taft at The Shed Distillery of PJ Rigney has released this year's installment. Drumshanbo Single Malt Galanta is a limited annual vintage whiskey of approx 1700 bottles in the Irish market. Matured in Single Use Kentucky Bourbon casks and boasts an intriguing balance of vanilla and wood spice.

Triple Distilled at The Shed Distillery of PJ Rigney, Drumshanbo, Co Leitrim. This single batch whiskey has stayed true to Irish whiskey making traditions. Distilled with Malted Irish Barley, Un-malted Irish Barley & Irish Barra Oats. Un-malted barley imparts a silky mouthfeel when combined with Barra Oats creates an intriguing creaminess & spiciness to the finish that truly sets this Irish whiskey apart. Aged in Sherry Oloroso & Kentucky Bourbon casks. This single Batch ‘Single Pot Still’ Irish Whiskey is exceptionally smooth, creamy, spicy & a true delight for the senses. Tasting Notes: Nose: Rich and balanced with aromatic warm pot spice, vanilla and dried fruit aromas. Palate: Full and balanced mix of fig, spice, Oloroso sherry and toasted oak notes. Finish: Elegant with a wonderfully creamy mouthfeel. It lingers on the palate.
