On A Date is a thrilling scent inspired by a magical date on a late summer’s evening overlooking the magnificent vineyards of Provence at sunset. It captures the sparkling and addictive fruitiness of ripe grapes soaked in warm sunshine, and the delicate yet decisive character of wild roses. This perfume sets the senses on high with memories of dating and falling in love that are unique and profound. Notes of sparkling Bergamot and luminous Rose convey all the excitement of the perfect date. An inviting, sweet and textured Blackcurrant Liquor accord coupled with sensual and woody Patchouli transport us to the vineyards of Provence, steeped in the golden glow of a late summer’s sunset. A fragrance with sustainably and ethically sourced ingredients… Patchouli Essence hailing from Bali and Rose Petal Essence. When working on this fragrance, the perfumer Carlos Benaïm was inspired by his own cherished memories of Provence, the stage of his very first steps in the perfume industry. He particularly wanted to capture the Mediterranean sunshine as it heats the vineyards for harvests overflowing with addictive and joyful sensations of well-being.

Afternoon Delight captures a moment of self-indulgence, transporting you to a Parisian café, where the uplifting aroma of warm madeleines fills the air. A sweet yet light, ambery gourmand fragrance whose delectable scent recalls moment of joyful escapism. At the heart of the fragrance is a Madeleine accord , that at once evokes Afternoon Delight’s sense of comfort, while conjuring a moment of “me time,” in which the quotidian appears to fade away. This blends with the creamy and woody notes of Sandalwood , while the deliciousness of Madagascan Vanilla Pod lingers in the fragrance. These notes all capture the memory of an enveloping moment for oneself. To compose Afternoon Delight, master perfumer Carlos Benaïm looked to evoke the transporting feeling that famed French author Marcel Proust immortalized in his 1913 novel “À la recherche du temps perdu”. In the novel, the narrator tastes a madeleine dipped in tea, taking him back to his childhood. The madeleine has since come to symbolize taking a moment to pause and recall the memory of a fleeting indulgence. Afternoon Delight is a fragrance that captures this delightful moment in a finely crafted artistic olfactory creation.
