Single Grain Irish Whiskey 70cl

Sprung from the minds of masters and apprentices, Method and Madness is whiskey that pays heed to tradition, while searching for unordinary. This release asked Method and Madness the question: what if they take a step away from the familiar with a single grain whiskey finished in virgin Spanish oak? Without giving too much away, the two made very good partners, with a taste of gentle wood spice playing off the natural sweetness of the grain. Nose: new pencil shavings, light rose petal and fresh rain on pine. Taste: warm toasted oak, fresh peeled grapefruit and zesty wood spices. Sweet cereal, clove spiciness and fresh mint on the finish. Finished in virgin Spanish oak Taste of gentle wood spice playing off the natural sweetness of the grain Unique bottle design Remains true to Irish whiskey making traditions Alcohol level: 46
