A 17 Year Old Single Malt that was aged in ex-Bourbon barrels for the first 15 years before being transferred into a rare Japanese Mizunara cask for the final two years. It's predecessor the Glendalough 13 Year Old Mizunara Finish was named in the top 20 whiskeys in the world. Very aromatic and complex on the palate with notes of honeycomb, creamy vanilla and cedarwood spice. Only 6,000 bottles available.

The newest release from Glendalough Distillery, our Single Grain Double Barrel Cask Strength Irish Whiskey.This liquid begins its maturation process in flame charred ex Bourbon American oak casks. It is finished in premium first fill Oloroso casks from Montilla, a small town found in the rolling hills of the Spanish countryside.We choose the bodega, the liquid, the casks and the cooper in this region of Spain to deliver a terroir driven sense of this land. It is encapsulated in the liquid when we put our Irish whiskey in these slow toasted Spanish casks for aging.This liquid is bottled from the cask at 61.3% ABV in an homage to the heritage and original craft of distillation, which has been part of Irish culture for centuries.

Made from fresh, wild flora, sustainably foraged in the mountains around our distillery, and added to the still within hours of picking.
