A Cologne Elixir inspired by the Flower Market at Covent Garden which has been immortalised by George Bernard Shaw’s Pygmalion. Created by perfumer Bruno Jovanovic, Fanfare is a melodic fantasy with a touch of impertinence exuding the spirit of contemporary British aesthetic. It opens with a beguiling watery floral and citrus accord, which slowly becomes darker as the structure evolves and becomes more daring with the vermouth accord. Finally, the noble woods bring this dark depth to the structure of the fragrance.

Inspired by stories of the Covent Garden Piazza in the 19th and early 20th centuries, when it was a playground for the sinful and decadent pleasures of the dandies and literati, Master Perfumer Maurice Roucel and award-winning senior perfumer Alexandra Carlin concoct the expressive elements of the duality between light and shadow, danger and desire. Bright and punchy, yet dark and mysterious, Bohemian Infusion is a fragrance of contrasts. It reinterprets the iconic cologne structure with unexpected ingredients in a freestyle fashion. Zesty citrus accents of Grapefruit and Petitgrain fuse with juicy Blackcurrant and Cardamom. Cinnamon underlines the spicy nuance and blend with a bold bouquet of icy and resinous aromatic notes of Artemisia, Myrtle and Longoza. Enigmatic shades of earthy Patchouli and mineral Ambrostar are wrapped with carnal Labdanum and sensual Ambre 84 de Laire.

Chords Cologne Elixir 100ml

Chords is the fourth fragrance from The Britologne Collection. Reimagined as a Cologne Elixir with the classical structure of cologne layering over faceted nuances of Eau de Parfum, projecting memorable sillage and seductive longevity. Inspired by the desire of belonging in British-German composer George Handel’s residency in London at 25 Brook Street. Handel’s monumental contribution to British culture and music cemented his status as being "more British than British". Master Perfumer Nathalie Lorson begins the construction of Chords with Bergamot, echoing British Earl Grey tea with Neroli, which reinforces the fragrance’s freshness with the green and floral richness of Orange Blossom. In the heart, Ylang Ylang, Honey Accord and Tobacco diffuse a suave, warm and addictive sensation. Finally, in the base, Cedarwood Atlas, Cypriol and Woodleather reveal a bewitching and woody animalic facet whilst seducing the light and bright volatility of traditional cologne with a darker dimension.

Part of the Sovereign Collection, this Extrait de Parfum is inspired by the Garter Star, which was presented to the future King George VI of the United Kingdom in 1923 by the Royal Navy when he married Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon. Queen Elizabeth II was appointed to the Order of the Garter in 1947 by her father who presented her with the same Garter Star he was given at his marriage. Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II continued to wear her father’s Star until she passed away recently.
