Wonders of Wood Series 4 Irish Whiskey 70cl

Teeling Whiskey

Single Malt Irish Whiskey 5cl

A great single malt that is drawn from various ages of whisky from a single undisclosed Irish distillery. The oldest malt in this dates back to 1991 and the various components have been matured in different types of barrels including Sherry, Port, Madeira, White Burgundy and Cabernet Sauvignon. Possibly our favourite new whiskey of 2014. At this price it represents great value for money. Never mind that there is not an age statement, this is as good, if not better than most 12 year old single malts.

Palate: a balance mix of dry fruits, citrus, vanilla, spice and cloves. Overall: long with sweetness in harmony with dry tannins from the wood.

Teeling Whiskey

Small Batch Irish Whiskey 70cl

Teeling Small Batch Irish Whiskey challenges the convention of what an Irish blended whiskey can be. The flagship of Teeling’s Trinity Range, Teeling Small Batch consists of hand selected casks of grain and malt whiskey, initially aged separately in ex-bourbon casks for up to 6 years, and then given further maturation for between 6-9months in ex-rum casks from Central America, imparting a unique dried fruit profile. Like all of our bottlings, this whiskey is bottled at 46% with no chill filtration, completing an Irish Whiskey of true character. Teeling Small Batch was awarded the top prize of “Master” at the Spirits Business Irish Whiskey Masters 2017.

Teeling Whiskey

Single Grain Irish Whiskey 70cl

Teeling Single Grain Irish Whiskey is a wholly unique style within Irish Whiskey, pushing the boundaries of convention, at the intersect of where old world meets new. Although a common component in Irish blended whiskeys, we wanted to create a unique flavour expression of Irish Whiskey made exclusively from corn. By fully maturing this spirit in ex-Cabernet Sauvignon casks from the Napa Valley California, a highly distinct red-berry and tannic profile is imparted that is balanced perfectly with the underlying sweetness from the corn.

Teeling Whiskey

Teeling Crystal Malt Irish Whiskey 70cl

ABV%: 46%Crystal Malt: At Teeling Whiskey we believe in driving the evolution of Irish Whiskey through the creation of unconventional and unique expressions. This limited edition bottling of our Single Malt was crafted by adding Crystal Malt to its mash bill followed by maturation exclusively in Virgin American Oak Barrels. Crystal Malt is made when the sugars that are formed during the traditional malting process are crystallised through extra heat, producing distinct toffee-like flavours in the resulting Whiskey.Tasting Notes:Nose – Green apple, stewed pears, with hints of brown sugar, vanilla and light oak shavings.Taste – A burst of toffee coats the palate, with apple pie and fresh pastries, followed by a honeyed sweetness.Finish - Long luxurious finish with notes of soft cinnamon spice and caramel.
