Merryvale Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 0.75L

The 2016 Merryvale Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon opens with abundant dark fruit on the nose such as plum, blackberry and cherries, with a touch of leather and graphite. On the mouth it starts with lively acidity that brings a freshness to the wine, then it evolves on soft tannins and a very velvety texture—already showing great! There is a lot of tension and drinkability with this wine at release so it can be enjoyed immediately. This wine sets the standard for high quality Napa Cabernets and will age beautifully for the next 15 years. Merryvale Vineyards is a family-owned and operated St. Helena winery with decades of Napa Valley history as the first winery built in the valley following the Repeal of Prohibition. Merryvale's proprietors, the Schlatter family, are traditionalists with vision, committed to preserving the winery's rich past without compromising their innovative plans for the future. Merryvale's unparalleled Cabernet-focused portfolio boasts complex, balanced and world-class wines that are truly reflective of the region's terroir.
