Byredo Black Saffron Eau de Parfum 250 ml

With its intense orange color and distinctive smell, saffron has been used as a condiment, dye, medicine and perfume. It was introduced in Kashmir by the Persians in the 11th-12th centuries. Its use and cultivation quickly spread throughout the country. " Saffron has always been part of my Indian upbringing, because of its smell, taste and color. It is sacred to all Hindus, its color adorns Buddhist robes. It has become a real symbol for India. Black Saffron is inspired by this very idea of sublime unity. I have come to know my cultural heritage more and this fragrance is a testament to that." Ben Gorham, founder and creative director at BYREDO Notes Head: Black Plum, Saffron Heart: Leather accord, Clary sage Base: Patchouli, Powdered Musk".
